Southern Thailand

Down by the Bay

~ The high point of the trip for me was hearing how much my sons mean to the Thai people. Wherever I went - from the far north to the far south of the country - people approached me saying, "So you are Aaron and Emmet's dad" or I'm so glad to finally meet Wayland and Sean's father." Over and over again I heard how much my boys have helped Thai people by teaching, building worship spaces, supporting mission work in general, and just being good friends to them. The Charis Project, which Wayland and Aaron started, represents a long term commitment to the country that really impresses Thai people.

Haiti may or may not be in the future. At this point I don't know when the next trip will happen.

Thank you for sharing in the Kingdom's glad celebration with us.

Peace and all good,

"Ken Blue has published a new book on grace, "The Gospel Uncensored," and Sukit has had it translated into Thai. Two families who were stranded on their second floors for many weeks because of the flooding read the book. One lady, Du, cried most of the way through with her old pain coming up. Another lady, Noy, experienced spontaneous deliverance when she repented for her Buddhist practices. Our friend, Pink, has been on the phone regularly with these ladies, talking, explaining, praying with, teaching them how to pray for themselves in their isolation ... God has come!!!"
